This is an OEM cast iron Gear Box 5052-5 that weighs about 10lbs! It replaces the standard aluminum gearbox 5052-1 found on 48", 42" and 36" GHS decks. This is an upgrade gear box complete with gears, bearings and shafts. It is much stronger and resists cracks and leaks. OEM brand, not aftermarket, same brand as the aluminum.
